This project was generated full CGI, that means that no element is real or photographic, everything is generated by computer. We use a unique workflow in the country, which is guided by post-production and composition, to achieve great results by saving render resources. We use this type of pipeline in all our productions, generating a differential factor as we achieve high quality projects with less time and budget.

The modeling of digital doubles for cinema and television is one of the most used practices for visual effects (vfx). In Pigmalion Animation Studio®, thanks to our human talent and technical level, we can recreate this type of complexity in our characters with the standards demanded by the film industry.

Project for Sarku Japan.
The final pieces were used in singles and TV spots.
Our proposal was based on a brand study to generate model and render (product shot) without being rigid and boring, using the advantages offered by an animation studio over other limiting media such as video and photography, giving us free rein to the imagination. Additionally, different Asian elements such as dragons and sushi were combined, this is how this wonderful project DRAGON ROLLS finally sees the light.
Harley Quinn™
Character look proposal - DC Comics.
In the realization of this project it was necessary to take note of several emotional and morphological aspects, the look of the character had to be updated with three-dimensional technology , but without neglecting many of the canonical aspects that characterize it.
The small details in the textures of the wardrobe, as well as the 4 different hair systems that we use allowed us to give this character a realistic appearance and meet the quality standards demanded by the client and the animation industry in general.

Currently the preview of characters and concept art is not exclusive for 2D, more and more producers and studios are encouraged to test materials, lights and colors for their characters. For this project we carry out a character with hyperrealistic finishes with the quality standards demanded by the international industry, to be later integrated as a digital double.
Additionally, several facial animation tests were done.
Animation for Advertising
Advertising campaign.
Prevention campaign for health entities carried out as a measure to reduce the spread of STDs. Through 3D animation, using a very simple visual language and easily identifiable characters, we were able to narrate an idea that communicates in a clear but fun way a very serious message.
In Pigmalion Animation Studio® we always make a consensus between the technical and artistic department to achieve results with the quality demanded by the international animation industry. For this, both departments work hand to hand since the beginning generating different tests of animation, Rig, lighting, texturing and composition.
This is how our studio manages to create unique high-impact styles for each project , for advertising or more complex visual effects for cinema and TV.

3D modeling in advertising has a great advantage over video and photography, since through modeling, texturing and hyper-realistic rendering techniques, it is not only possible to replace a conventional product shot with a more entertaining animation, but also highlight the attributes of the product, whether physical or narrative aspects that the commercial needs, thus finding the perfect sample of the product, generating more desire and having more scope in the final target.
Bear: Cartoon for films

Bear is a project in which a character was made for an advertising campaign. What made this project so special is that It was used only in cinematographic advetising before the screening of films in cinemas. Thanks to this the project had technical and artistic requirements to achieve a character with the quality standards demanded by the international film industry.

Product modeling.
The modeling and rendering of the product is one of the modalities, that when it’s well done, generates a lot of impact and remembrance in the spectators, thus generating successful campaigns for different brands and agencies. This project is proof of this, using the advantages offered by an animation studio over limiting media such as video and photography , the imagination is given free rein with a creative idea, achieving images that no lens would have succeeded.

The film “Alma de héroe” , directed by Orlando Pardo, will also premiere an animated logo for the producer Océano Digital created by the Colombian animation studio and Vfx company, winner of the CG Award, Pigmalion Animation Studio® who were also in charge of the realization of visual effects of film.
